This is with regard to the news that school exams will be moved because of Ramadan:
Malcolm Trobe, deputy general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders, said the union is meeting with Muslim faith leaders to discuss Ramadan, and plans to issue guidance to schools and colleges ahead of the exams.
"The guidance will be non-prescriptive and will not advise families or students on how they should address the question of fasting during Ramadan which we agree is a matter for the individuals concerned along with parents, carers and faith leaders.
"School and college leaders are very keen to work with Muslim communities to ensure young people are able to observe Ramadan without any detrimental impact on their examinations."
It is appeasement then the norm...

Yeah I do remember now when I mentioned jet activity over centre parcs. Look, up there, they come, they go. Down here, they come, move next door, within a year the whole street is full of them.. Pubs are closing everywhere.. The area is becoming a shithole.. Spitting on the street, rubbish piled up outside their houses, gangs of blacks and Asians on every street corner, especially Romford town centre.. Yep.. I will be gone one day, but I don't want to die here.!

Im a big Star Wars fan...I dont see any negatives.
The town I live in has a Naval Air station right next to it, We get children transferring in to our school from all different places. People from other nations military forces come over for a year, a military exchange program, if you will.
We have Polish kids, French kids, German kids, African kids, Fijian kids....and guess what, some Muslim kids too, or as we call them...kids.
I sit on no tower, I come from Knapp Road in Bow...I know the changes, I also understand why people are frightened of change...but change will happen regardless of any resistance you put up and all the scaremongering in the world from the press wont help.
Dont let it eat you Schoffie...one day you'll be history and their will be no more you..enjoy what you've got and let others do the same and dont worry unless it actually impinges on your rights..
